The University President , under the authority of Section 1001.75(5), F.S., has delegated to several university positions, not
under the supervision of the Director of Purchasing Services Department, the following contracting dutites:
Up to and including the value of $1,000,000.00
- Provost Ron Berkman
- Ms. Vivian Sanchez, Vice President and CFO
Up to and including $500,000.00
- Dr. John Rock, Dean, College of Medicine
- Dr. Rosa Jones, Vice President, Student Affairs
- Ms. Cristina Mendoza, General Counsel
- Sandra Gonzalez-Levy, VP for University & Community Relations
- Dr. George E. Walker, Vice President for Research and Dean of the University Graduate School
With the authority to negotiate, enter into, and execute all documents related to proposals for research contracts, as well as research contracts, to solicit and accept research grants and donations, and to fix and collect fees, other payments and donations that may accrue by reason thereof up to and including the value of $500,000.00
