The Office of Finance and Administration is led by Dr. Kenneth Jessell, Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration (CFO/SVP). Dr. Kenneth Jessell provides leadership in the administration of all financial operations including: Office of Business & Finance, Controllers, Foundation, and Treasury as well as Facilities Management, Human Resources, Emergency Management and Public Safety. The following officers report directly to the Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration and CFO: Associate Vice President Business & Finance, Assistant Vice President Foundation & Direct Support Organizations, University Controller, University Treasurer, Associate Vice President Facilities Management, Vice President Human Resources, Director of Emergency Management, and the Chief of Police.

Ivette Capote, Sr. Financial Analyst, Executive Area Budget Manager

Ivette assists the CFO in allocating revenue by reviewing and analyzing budget forecasts, budget variances and strategic initiatives to help ensure that appropriate financial resources are dedicated to the key strategic themes and objectives of the University. She serves as the Executive Area Budget Manager for departments within the Division of Finance and Administration and works closely with the CFO on strategic planning and team objectives. She also manages and coordinates Board of Trustee (BOT) preparation for areas reporting to the CFO/Senior VP of Finance and Administration. Prepares all materials, agenda, talking points, and summary reports and ensure that all materials are in order for CFO Trustee briefings. Finally, she manages Board of Governor preparation for areas reporting to the CFO/Senior VP of Finance and Administration.

Jessica I. Castro, Assistant Director, Business & Administration

Jessica is responsible for the overall operations of the Office of Finance and Administration. In this role she works closely with the CFO on project management and team objectives. She processes and monitors Purchases Orders, Pro Card Transactions, travel reimbursements, office supplies, materials purchases, and monetary expenditures from all Foundation and University accounts. Jessica ensures that both the CFO and the Associate VP, Business and Finance are prepared for all meetings and travel. She serves as the HR Liaison and handles all HR related issues across all units within the CFO’s purview. She works closely with HR departments on specific projects. In addition, Jessica supervises the Administrative Assistant and the student assistants.

Manuel Muñoz-Repiso, Administrative Assistant

Manuel is responsible for managing the daily agenda for Kenneth A. Jessell, CFO/SVP Finance and Administration and Aime Martinez, Associate VP, Business & Finance, which includes arranging the calendar, scheduling appointments, and ensuring that both have all necessary information for meetings. He coordinates all team meetings by publishing agendas, distributing pertinent data and finalizing all logistics. Manuel also manages the scheduling for the Executive Conference Room (PC 521) and the Department of Emergency Management Conference Room (PG5).
